The June issue of Kiplinger’s Finance names Austin “the Best City for the Next Decade.” The magazine named the top 10 cities in the United States, emphasizing the three things the cities have in common: smart people, great ideas and collaboration. Austin’s South by Southwest Festival and Conference was cited as an example of the intersection of music, film, business and technology in the capitol city.
The list was selected by Kiplinger’s and Kevin Stolarick, research director at the Martin Prosperity Institute, a think tank that studies economic prosperity.
