First Annual Gypsy Picnic Rolls into Downtown Austin this Weekend

The first annual Gypsy Picnic Trailer Food Festival is this Saturday, November 6,th at Auditorium Shores. This free, one-day event features the unique tastes of Austin food trailers, bringing them all to one central location in the heart of downtown Austin. Admission is free, and the picnic lasts from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Each vendor will provide 2-3 signature items with at least one smaller “tasting” portion for no more than $3, making it easy for attendees to easily sample from dozens of trailers.

The event is complete with live music from a variety of artists and a tasting contest among the trailers. At the end of the day, a Fan Favorite winner will be chosen from all participating vendors. Gypsy picnickers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite foods, and the winner will receive an advertising package from KGSR (93.3-FM).
