Open Architecture Downtown This Weekend

Graeber Simmons & Cowan2 Tomorrow (May 1) the members of AIA Austin are holding Open Architecture Downtown, a self-guided tour to 23 architecture studios in the downtown Austin area. Tour goers are invited to walk, drive or bike to the spaces to get a look into the creative businesses, hear plans for future projects and experience the unique styles of each firm. Tickets to the tour, which takes place from 1-5p.m., are $5 and can be purchased from AIA Austin by calling 512.452.4332 or visiting the Center for Architecture at 12th and Rio Grande.

All proceeds benefit Casa Verde Builders, a service program of American Youthworks that trains youth in green building practices. More information about the program is available here
