Downtown Austin Event: Circus of the 7 Dawns Halloween Parade

Tonight, costume-clad trick or treaters will be in downtown Austin for the 5^th annual Halloween Parade hosted by Krewe DCM. The parade begins at Auditorium Shores at 9:00 p.m. and will follow a route up Congress Avenue and Sixth Street.

This year’s parade theme is Circus of the 7 Dawns, and will feature an assortment of costumed circus crew members, multiple large-scale animal puppets, three local brass bands, a mobile big top circus tent and more. Everything used in the parade has been hand-built by local artists specifically for the Halloween festivities this evening.
