On-site Dog Grooming at The Austonian Caters to the Urban Pet

As more people adopt the urban lifestyle, they’ve been moving downtown with their pets. With these city-dwelling animals in mind, The Austonian high-rise luxury condos are home to in-building services and facilities that cater to dogs.

Since The Austonian’s opening in June, residents with pets have been enjoying the 600-square foot outdoor Dog Park on the 10th floor. A recent addition to the dog-friendly facilities at The Austonian is the completion of the dog grooming room, which is located in an indoor area adjacent to the dog park.

Outfitted by locally-owned Dirty Dog, Austin’s first self-serve dog wash, the grooming room includes raised tubs, dog shampoo, nail clippers, a grooming table and a dryer. Residents may groom their pets or have their pet professionally groomed by Dirty Dog, which was voted Austin’s “Best Grooming Salon” by the Austin Pet Directory.

Additional services available to pets at The Austonian include pet sitting, pet walking, personal shopping and veterinary care. Local business partners include Austin Urban Vet Center and 2ND Street District pet store Lofty Dog.

For more vigorous exercise, the trails of Lady Bird Lake are just one block south of the luxury condo.
